In 2005 George and Susan Marin started out on a search to find the perfect spot for a gift shop. Their journey lead them to the Cropper House in Chesapeake city Maryland.
This was the start of the Dragonfly Gift Shop.
Today Dragonfly has moved to a new location, 109 Bohemia Avenue, still in Chesapeake City.
This is a new begining in many ways for us.
1st, a new building: the original bank of Chesapeake City.
2nd, we have changed our view. We now only carry American, Canadian or Fair trade items. Please check out our new site:

Directions: From I-95 North:
I-95 South to Exit 896 South (Middletown-last exit before toll). 896 S. turn right onto Route 40 West towards Elkton. Make a left at light [just past the Big Elk Mall on your right hand side] onto Route 213 South. Follow Route 213 South. Exit immediately to the right after crossing over the Chesapeake City bridge. At yield sign turn right follow road under the bridge to the stop sign. Turn Left onto George Street then right onto First Street.
From I-95 South:
I-95 North to town of North East Exit#100. Bear to the right to 272 South. Follow 272 to Route 40. Make a left to Route 40 East. Follow Route 40 to Route 213 South. Make a right. Follow Route 213 South. Exit immediately to the right after crossing over the Chesapeake City bridge. At yield sign turn right and follow road under the bridge to the stop sign. Turn left onto George Street then right onto First Street.
