Dragonfly Gift Shop, LLC is owned by George and Susan Marin and managed by their daughter Jennifer Marin.
Our building was built in 1833 and has been totally restored to a beautiful facility, in a truly perfect location near the Chesapeake and Delaware canal.

George Marin also specializes in designing and making custom stained glass windows. He maintains a large glass work shop in Kennedyville, Maryland, about 20 minutes from Chesapeake City, where he has a large supply of glass inventory, bevel clusters, and a glass kiln to fuse and slump glass into many shapes and forms. Fused glass is the process of melting glass together and slumping involves shaping glass into various forms, such as glass into glass bowls.
George and Jennifer can both work with anyone in the custom design of windows to fit exact openings, using different colors and bevels of glass that work best for the desired location. There is also a book at the store showing some of our recent works.
Jennifer Marin also makes unique art items in pottery. She maintains another work studio in Kennedyville, Maryland, with a pottery kiln to make special works of art, vases, and bowls in different colors, shapes, and sizes.
